The compact DC3800 is small enough to take anywhere and has been designed as a simple point-and-shoot. To keep things simple the number of controls has been kept to a minimum. Despite the diminutive size it has full auto-focus, built-in flash, a good bright 1.5-inch LCD screen and a 2x digital zoom, not as capable as a proper optical zoom but in a camera at this level a good bonus.
