The most fun rally game available
I have Colin McRae Rally & Colin McRae Rally 2 for the PS and Rally Championship on the PC.
While the CM games are very good, there isnt much to do once youve completed the championship. As for Rally Championship, it is a great simulation, probably the best, but it is that realistic that its practically impossible to drive your car through one of the 15 minute stages without seriously damaging it, even if you dont even crash, just taking a jump can wreck your car!My first impressions of RalliSport Challenge were good. It has very impressive graphics (just check out the suns reflection on the ice roads!). The cars handle well (using the triggers for braking & accelerating works really well). You start of with a few cars and a few events to enter them in. This is the "Challenge" in the title, and it does become challenging, as you realise you need to race through a competition again to try and get a few more points, or you struggle to control the Group B cars in the "Classic" stages. To unlock more cars and competitions you need to gain points, which you get based on your position, time, top speed, damage (the less the better) and lap time (if it applies).
The events you take part in are always against 3 other cars (not many i know), these events are: Traditional Rally: short stages, like short versions of CM stages. Hill Climb: the name says it all really, you use big powerful motors to get up a hill. Ice Racing: my fave part of the game, the circuits really encourage sideways driving, you wont make it round these corners through careful braking! Rallycross: fast-paced circuit racing. The game is really good fun to play, something lacking from other rally games, and the added bonus of making your own music playlist adds to the whole package. If you want a simulation, then dont get this, but if you enjoy sideways driving and dont care about complicated car set-ups, then this is the game for you.

Doubter Becomes Believer...!!!
Im not a huge racing fan in any way beause I havent really found a racing game that I have liked. All the racing games Ive bought in the past (GT2 for PSOne, Colin McRae, etc) have all disappointed me. I began wondering if there was a racing game that I would enjoy. But then I came across this baby. There are not enough superlatives I could use to describe this game! Its got it all - amazing graphics, great gameplay and really good sound. One of my most favourite features is the option of allowing the user to add their own playlist to the game - theres nothing better than burning up the Sahara to the tune of Rollin Rollin by Limp Bizkit. Buy this game even if youre not a racing fan - you will not be disappointed.

Rallisport Challenge
This game has to be the BEST racing game I have ever played!!! Well I have played GT3 on the PS2 for many hours, but dame these graphics are much better, and with the XBOX being able to run in 60hz and on a widescreen TV this game looks and plays just amazingly in either 1 player or 4 players!From the cars detail to the trees, this game has to be the best car game to date on any format, it is just stunning! If you like car games go straight out and get this one, if you have a 5.1 Dolby Digital setup get it straight away, sounds dame sweet!

Its kept my five year old amused for ages, hes since moved onto other games but this ones definately a favourite. Its very frantic, has plenty of different tracks. Probably not one for adults or older teenagers...
