My 1st digital camera. Cheap, very functional, very easy to use and good quality results for anyone but a serious user.
Battery doesnt last that long, but then apparently thats the same across the board.
Surprisingly good macro function and the video recording also a nice little feature for messing about with.
On the whole Id definitely recommend this to anyone who is wanting to get into digital photography. For the price, its a steal!

Fuji Finepix A101
Ive had this camera for a while now, and I love it. Even at 1.3megapixles, the picture quality is perfect. The screen is clear, and dosent lag as some cameras do. VERY small and light. My only dislikes about it...there are some items always on the screen, so its hard to see the top, but they are translucent, so its not too bad. Also, the digital zoom can only be used at 640x480. One final dislike is where the screen is placed. Its very easy to see, but easy to scratch. However, I have managed to keep mine clean...

Excellent Starter Digital Camera
What better way to commence your digital picture taking experience than with the Fujifilm FinePix A101. If you are the type of person who reads the instruction manual in intricate detail, then good for you! If youre like me, its a case of 1: Remove camera from box; 2: Insert batteries (supplied); 3: Take pictures! Fortunately, this camera lets you do that with the greatest of ease. This is due to the simple-to-use menu displayed on the lcd screed. Note: while using the menu - or the screen as a viewfinder - the batteries tend to deplete unbelieveably quickly. However, with a bit of practice, its easy to prolong their longevity. The camera has a number of useful features including supressed flash, zoom, several picture/resolution formats, as well as excellent playback/review facilities. Up to 20s of avi-format movies (no sound) can be shot & instantly reviewed. Loading the supplied software is simplicity itself, which then allows you to instantly download photos/movies stored on the smart media card to your PC via the supplied USB lead. I would recommend purchasing the AC adaptor (Fujifilm AC3V) for this task, as betteries again tend to deplete quickly. Finally, the camera may also be used as a webcam using the software provided - a nice extra touch. In conclusion, I can thoroughly recommend this product, but would also recommend buying rechargeable batteries, the AC adaptor and a case!
