Having just embarked upon a floristry course, I found this book most helpful giving details that I needed for a project that I couldnt find elsewhere. I also found the photography brilliant. My only criticism is that it could have given a few more visual tips on how to do the displays.

An implausible plot doesnt prevent Harrisons Flowers from being a harrowing and moving depiction of the cost of war. His use of descriptive words allows the reader to experience his emotions as he reads the poems to himself. This is a must read book...really...
