Great Player for this price
I got one of these a couple of months ago. I paid a lot more than the Amazon price too:-(Ill know next time. I use the digital output to hook up to my Videologic DigiTheatre decoder and speakers, and this is a great player for surround sound, but like any player you need extra kit.
The decoder isnt built into the player, but it does have a digital output and can pass the stream to a decoder.
If you want surround sound with your DVD, this is the best way to do it.

Excellent picture quality, smooth controls
A great DVD player. Excellent video and sound output. Note that there is no built in dolby processor (so not for those who want surround sound). An excellent budget buy - if all you want is a good picture and sound through your tv you wont be disappointed.Only one small gripe, and probably common with most DVDs - if I select subtitles, it forgets it when I change disk. Cant the manufacturers see that if someone selects subtitles, they probably want subtitles on permanently?

Philips CDR 775 audio CD recorder brings high-speed recording and hard-wired convenience to a new level of affordability. The deck works equally well as a recorder and as a player, thanks to its abundant hook-up options. It doesnt muster the stellar quality from its analogue outputs that youll find in pricier CD recorders and players, though the digital outputs sound fine. 
The Samsung Yepp is easily one of the coolest-looking digital audio players around. The most outstanding feature of the Yepp is its size--only 3.2 by 2.4 by 0.97 inches and 1.7 ounces; its the size a deck of cards (and just a bit lighter). The controls are easily reached and the player has great sound. Better still, it never skipped a beat during our testing even when it was inadvertently slammed around a few times.
Function of this product is the best & very user friendly. With all this function same type of GPS system cost around £300. I am gone buy it. Because I have used it in one of my friends car. I was almost blind when I am driving with that system. Because it was telling me everything I dont even have..

As with all the Rio products Ive encoutered (admittedly thats only 2), the supplied instructions are pretty poor. The software upgrade supplied with it removed one of my favourite features of the player - hold down centre button to select tracks from a list. When I first started using it the battery..
