Samsung Yepp 32MB Digital Audio Player

It worths
Its 3 years Ive bought it, and Ive never had a problem with it. It just stop working for half on hour when it was flooded by a sea wave (and some sand went in it). The only lack is the 32mb of memory (I couldnt find the yepp memory card to expand it). The sound is really good if you have good quality earphones.
You can record more than one hour of talking, but the music recording quality is poor. The software is really good, as well, and you dont need it if you wanna delete some .mp3 or .wav while your out and youre running out of memory. It worths the money (its pretty cheap in my humble opinion).

DO NOT BUY!!!
I urge anyone with less money than sense, to please not buy this product.
I had mine for about a month and had nothing but problems with it. The thing is badly designed and badly constucted, especially the battery cover which broke twice in a month! The remote seems to have been designed by someone with very small hands.
I had a lot of software trouble with this as well, namely unreliable transfer of files, some of which would disappear completely during the process. Samsungs technical support is a joke!
Sound quality is quite good, but I absolutely hate the way it enforces a gap between mp3 files.
In short an awful product which I cannot recommend to an enemy.
I have subsequently returned it and bought a Sony NetMD instead...Wizard!

Dodgy Casing
Altough the Samsung yepp is very easy to use and sounds great, surely they could have done something about the quality of the casing. The battery flap is so flimsy that it comes with a spare! Due to a stiff mechanism combined with the brittle plastic, I have broken the peg on the origional and have now broken the accomodating slot on the main body of the player. The item is now going to be returned to the dealer.

Philips CDR775 CD Recorder

Philips CDR 775 audio CD recorder brings high-speed recording and hard-wired convenience to a new level of affordability. The deck works equally well as a recorder and as a player, thanks to its abundant hook-up options. It doesnt muster the stellar quality from its analogue outputs that youll find in pricier CD recorders and players, though the digital outputs sound fine.

The CDR 775 is equally happy receiving data from either of the two established means of digital audio transmission (opti..

Panasonic DVD-RV31EBS DVD Player

I got one of these a couple of months ago. I paid a lot more than the Amazon price too:-(

Ill know next time.

I use the digital output to hook up to my Videologic DigiTheatre decoder and speakers, and this is a great player for surround sound, but like any player you need extra kit.
The decod..

Philips HS501Headphones with neckband

I mean really, what can you say about headphones?

Well lets start with the quite nifty design of these things, the support band goes around the back of the head keeping the headphones attached without causing hair to be displaced to such a degree as usual. Theres the gold plated pin, I dont know i..

Rio 600 32MB Memory Expansion Pack

As with all the Rio products Ive encoutered (admittedly thats only 2), the supplied instructions are pretty poor. The software upgrade supplied with it removed one of my favourite features of the player - hold down centre button to select tracks from a list. When I first started using it the battery..
