Plantronics Hook Over Ear

£ 12.99
Perfectly Adequate if flimsy
Like the previous user, I found the headset flimsy. I, too, broke off the ear hook, so I guess its a design fault. I didnt find it too uncomfortable, but I never used it for a really long time.
The sound quality is fine, but the build quality is a little low. Still, its very cheap.

Plantronics M120 headset
This is one of the cheaper boom mic type headsets for mobile phones, and in reality, you do get what you pay for,

In use it works ok, but trust me, if you only plan to use the headset for a few minutes at a time, itll be fine, however im on orange everyday 50, so call my GF for an average of an hour every night using this headset, and it can become painful in use,
The reason is because the ear piece is hard plastic, and it seems to be sized so it doesnt quite fit in the ear, or sit outside it well, so you end up with it half in and half out, it really needs some padding to make it a better earpiece.

I end up trying to push it in my ear (it doesnt go inside the ear canal like in the ear headphones do, but in the part of the ear against your skull, with the sticky out bits of skin holding it in place),
It seems that if you dont get the ear piece in your ear a bit, then the boom for the mic tries to pull the headset off your ear, it doesnt fall off because of the ear hook luckily, but youll find that you are constantly adjusting the speaker volume on the phone to compensate for the ear piece moving away and closer to your ear as you move.

The mic is good and powerful, but on a solid boom, so to get it close to your mouth (should be about 2 thumbs away), you need to partially adjust the whole headset so its hanging out of your ear..causing the problems of the whole lot trying to fall out, and making it rub and make the ear sore,
A 3 position switch on the connector selects mic volume, handy to cancel out room noise, the connector is a stereo 2.5 mm jack plug, the standard for phone headsets.

The ear hook is good, the back of it is totally flexible to enable you to mould it to your ear shape, it keeps its shape pretty well, but you do end up molding it very tight against your ear to try and keep the headset on your ear, the hook can be removed from the earpiece, and positioned upside down, so you can use the headset on either ear,
The cable comes out the middle of the boom, about 1 inch from the earphone, a good place for it to prevent tangles, the cable is a good length, enabling me to have the phone in my trouser pocket, and have about 1/2 a foot loose when i tilt my head back, (im 6 foot)

HOWEVER, i have just broke the ear hook,it snapped off cleanly where it goes from the bent shape around the ear, to where it becomes a thin rod to slide in the headset its self, i assume this was caused by me having to continually adjust the shape of the hook to keep it on my ear, though in all fairness, i have has the headset over a year now.

In summary, for the occasional user, this will be a good unit, better than the standard dangle mic hands free kits that come with phones, but if you want it for prolonged use, it will hurt your ear, better to pay the extra fiver or so and get the next model up.

Plantronics Over Ear Headset

i have one of these items and i think it is brilliant, the design of it is outstanding as it looks very stylish as well as sleek. you have no problems with the microphone dangling about on the cord as it rests by the side of your face. i tend to use it mainly when i am driving and i have been told b..

Crunchie Fascia for Nokia 3310

As a phone cover junkie who changes her cover on a regular basis, I have to say I love this one and its been on my phone for a record breaking month now. Everyone comments on it and my two year old son is always trying to eat it, LOL.

This is my favourite cover out of all the chocolate ones...

Crunchie Fascia for Nokia 3210

Theres not much you can say about a phone cover! Well, this one looks very stylish and doesnt have one of those annoying slidy bits at the bottom which I cant see any point to. I have had one for a few months now, and unlike all other phone covers, the picture doesnt rub off after a few weeks...

Silver Fascia for Nokia 3210

My experiance of this fascia is that it looks good and is certainly something different. the only problem I have with it, is that the spring loaded slide can be a bit powerful. Another thing is that to lock and unlock ur keypad, u have to open the Slidy thing (best description I could think of). Oth..
