Not - not the best...
Well I got this camera after selling my Sony digicam and digital camcorder (cos I didnt really use them enough)...All in all its a good buy...
I like...
-- HUGE screen on the back - twice the size of ANY other and the menu is easy to use
-- Quite small - fits in pocket with little trouble...
-- The film with sound is excellent - VERY impressed with this.
-- Picture quality is good
-- Style is really cool too
-- The battery it comes with lasts for a long time - unlike my Sony Camera where the battery lasted for about 10mins. and you get a 16mb card - unlike the Song 4mb
-- acts a webcam and flash is cool Dislikes...
-- Lack of features - unlike my sony camera you cannot have B+W, Sepia, -ve etc. - however - you can change these on the computer so...
-- Cannot choose size of image (but can choose megapixel from 0.3 - upto 6fine megapixels)
-- It is hard to get pictures in focus - this really is annoying as the autofocus wont focus unless a flash is taken - maybe other digicams are like this too - but it is still annoying. Some people have said the cradle isnt stable - Ive had no worries. All in all good for your money - lack of features and the focus problem have annoyed me... but I wouldnt take it back

Great Pictures, Great Looks
This is my first digital camera and let me say in confidence that if this is your first digital camera you will not be disappointed! The pictures are marvellous at 3 Megapixels for printing 10cm x 15cm pics, I havent needed to use the 6 megapixel mode yet!!I like- The sharp looks, the lens coming out from the camera (very james bond!), great photos at 3+ megapixels, the two memory card option (compact flash and xD), the film mode, the 2.5" screen, the cradle very useful. I dislike- the small zoom (if your looking to take pictures of wildlife or scenery buy a digital SLR i.e. Fuji S3000, this is a fun camera.), the cradle is a little unbalanced when camera is not in it, some of the movie modes (e.g. the movie mode is only decent in 640x480 mode, 30fps mode is VHS quality when watched on 25" TV, 340 x 240 mode is only good when watched on camera screen poor on a TV)the movie mode is bad in poor light. but what can you exppect? Overall an extremly versatile camera. A word of warning if you plan to take lots of video then get at least a 256 Mb card, more if you can.

bets thing I have ever bought!
I truly love this camera. I bought a huge memory (1 gigabite microdrive) with this as I also wanted to use it as a digital videocamera. It nows holds something like 3500 pictures or an hours worth of video. The video quality when transfered even to brand new iMac isnt brilliant, but if watched with camera plugged into the TV it is perfect. The camera is small enough to take everywhere, feels sturdy, and is very easy to use. It has clever features and I have yet to find something it cannot do. It is fun, it is functional, and I cannot imagine needing to upgrade for a long time yet. The software supplied is easy to use and before you know it you are creating slideshows etc.
