Poor call quality
I was initially excited by the HBH-60: its small compared to some of the "boom-mic" style headsets and it had to be great coming from the manufacturers of the SonyEricsson T68i and T610, right? Unfortunately not.Pairing and using the device is simple enough and voice-dialling works well. But, and heres the cruncher, people could only hear me when I was in a quiet room with no background noise. I could never be heard in the car: where the headset lives. I did tinker with volume and position on my head, but to no avail. Unfortunately, this isnt a unique experience. A friend of mine also took the HBH-60 plunge, and had the same problems. We can now speak to each other perfectly using the Jabra BT200 bluetooth headset (which is also much cheaper....).

Poor durability spoils Excellent Performance
Having decided to go straight before legislation enforced it, my researches came up with the Ericsson HBH-60 as the perfect hands free partner for my T68i phone. It arrived in 48 hours and was simple to set up and put to work immediately. That was two months ago. The clarity, volume (Im slightly deaf) and usability have been marvellous - except... The silly rubber collar that attaches the earclip to the headset body has worn smooth - to the point that it slips apart at the slightest shake of the head. The main body hits the ground and eventually (two months remember) dies. A Warranty claim would be dishonest - it suffered multible blows by hitting the deck, not an internal failure due to poor manufacture. It would be so easy to fix this weakness with a small screw and washer - but I didnt want to risk drilling a tiny hole in the securing peg in case I hit the PC board inside. Why wasnt it made that way? My advice? Buy something more solidly made!

Nokia HDW-2 Bluetooth Headset
|
The main drawback of this product was the flimsy ear-clips that it came with, both were broken within a week, and on getting in touch with nokia they told me that they would be out of these clips for another six weeks because of the demand for them! Otherwise the headsets performance was ok, up to 1..
