Easy to install solution for your extra TVs
Doddle to install, and picture was fine on 2nd TV upstairs. I have since bought another receiver unit so we can watch in the kitchen too!Only problems are the remote control feeder isnt very effective (you should be able to change channels from any receiver unit, but it doesnt always work) - and most kitchen equipment (especially Microwaves!) interfere with the signal. You also might find that your neighbours stuff may cause interference too! Overall a very good wireless solution, if a little expensive!

Fantastic picture quality!
Needed to extend my Sky+ box to another room in the house. I read about the Philips VL1200 in a new mag DigitalHome. Took the plunge and bought it. Set up is so simple, in my opinion the scart leads are long enough, as the unit must sit on top of your tv/sky+ box. After the big switch on.........Eureka! The picture quality is truly unbelieveable. With other wireless devices in the house, thought I may get a poor picture. The only device that effects it, is when the microwave is switched on.....and thats rare. The box even works the SKY+ remote without a sky link! Go and buy one.....it now allows me to watch a fantastic picture in any room in the house...........may be tennis in the garden in the summer!

Does not do what is says on the tin
A lifelong fan of Philips quality products, this offering is very poor for the whopping price tag.Wireless, well yes, you dont have to lay a cable from TV to bedroom, but you do have three scart cables, two tranformers and a remote contol recieving sensor which only works if its 2-3 millimetres from the sensor. As for remote control commands, the only way I could get this magical system to work was to stick the remote control reciever "pods" on the front of my Sky digibox and DVD player which looks totally rubbish if I do say so myself. Even then, sending a remote control signal from the bedroom to the front room is a minor miracle in itself, hours of pesistance are required with a 30-40% success rate. Finally, the monumental task of sending an RF signal from front room to bedroom a whole 6 metres across my house is not achieved without hideous interference, with PC, GSM etc all turned off. Do yourself a favour, dont bother. Come on Philips, you can do better than this.
