Macs where not really considered to be hardcore gaming machines and only some very old or low powered graphics cards were available to mac gamers. The only graphics cards made bieng made for design work, not gaming. Over the past two years all of this has changed though. With the release of the voodoo range to the mac platform gamers have suddenly realised what they were missing before. The voodoo cards far outrank the efforts of any other cards out there and my only negative comment against this card was that some computers couldnt accept the AGP version as they were not big enough, but now everybody can enjoy the wonder of this card. The rendering is top quality and all of the games i have experienced on it are top quality the rendering perfect even on a high resolution like 1024*768. A setting which every other card i have used cannot seem to cope with. The frame rate on all of the games i have used with this card are above 50fps which is brill with the resolution and all of the graphics turned up to max in the games. Its full screen anti analizing makes the games look even more beautiful. The 32Mb of Ram is not a puny amount by any means. Buy the fasest mac you cn and try running grphic intensive gmes on it. Even though you may have a lot of ram and a fast prossesor maybe even dual processor insert one of these cards and i garentee that it will boos performance beyond anything you could dream of. Of course voodoo cards arnt the only cards in the market witha sudden intrest from many graphics cards manufacturers as the mac platform becomes more popular but the voodoo cards are the best at the moment. The price is also extremely low and that makes it even more attractive to potential buyers. The rage these days may be about more ram in a graphics card but at this stage you by no means need more than 32Mb. Take it from me. I am a hardcore gamer. The voodoo card is a highly enjoyable card which will keep you happy for a very long time and will make short work of everything that is thrown at it. An exellent card. Well worth the price.
