Better than my MDR-500s
They just arrived today!

They sound great. Im used to my Sony MDR-500s and the sound quality from these waaay surpasses that, in my opinion. Im only just getting used to the different feel, though. The bass response is full and rich, and the higher frequencies still come though really clearly. I dont listen to much dance/techno but I feel like Ive been in the recording studio with radiohead...and my colleagues cant hear a thing, they dont leak at all :-)

They quite neatly fit round your ears, and feel quite heavy at first. The headpiece only has padding in the middle on the underside, but thats the only place that they need it.

My biggest complaint so far? the length of the cable. Sat at my machine with my box under the desk, the cable (coiled) pulls gently just enough to be taut against the edge of my desk. So, a little longer would be nicer, but its quite bearable. I can still lean back in my chair with no worries.

I reckon that in another week or so my rating would be more like 5 stars..but I would *really* like to see a longer cable.
