I got this product 2 days after ordering and it took 45 mins to install. The only problem i had was it knocked my voodoo 2 out but this was mainly due to the old dodgy computer i own.I cant fault the product as of yet and i dout i will be able to. the price is brilliant and the speed it writes is superb for what i need.
A brilliant buy if you want to back up files or make audio CDs. Nero is easy to use. just drag and drop and click burn and the rest is done including mp3 to cda (cd file type) conversion is done- it somtimes takes 10 mins to convert a whole disk (about 60 mins)- so you can play all the songs you downloaded on your normal cd player as long as you write on a CD-R but you can write on the CD-RW but you need a compatable home cd player to read this disk. dont let the unknown name put you off as it is quality product.
I reccomend it to anyone.

Do you want to buy a CDRW? Then buy this one!!! Quite simply this is the best value for money purchase I think I have ever made. At this price you are saving around £20 or more over it`s competitors. It`s quieter than my existing CDROM. Fully compatible and completely faultless. Comes with Nero which I don`t use. I use WinXP. And a couple of free blank discs. Clear instructions are included for the newcomer to installing such items.Buy it...

A MUST if you want cd-rw
... The software included means printing out 100+ pages of instructions (unless you have remarkable memory!) but this includes cd-rw formatting, cd-r burning, cd cover design etc etc etc. To get the most out of the machine it is well worth taking this trouble.
As for cd reproduction, for my first attempt I used a direct copy from the pcs pre-installed dvd drive directly onto the cd-rw drive and the copy was impressive, taking about 10 mins for 71 mins playing time.
There was no under-run but you have the option of using an image file to be 100% sure of no under-run. This also means you can copy cds with a single drive.
I could rant on for ages but enough to say if you want cd-rw on your machine then this is the one to get...
