The perfect beginners bible. This is a book that leaves nothing to chance and explains everything in a clear and concise manner. It starts by helping you to choose the area in which you would be suited best such as residential sales or commercial etc through simple character analysis which is quite effective.I admire the fact that it refutes the hard selling tactics within the real estate industry which some books are completely geared to. It gives a realistic insight and much grounding for anyone who wishes to pursue a career as an estate agent and is a book I couldnt recommend more.
Dont be put off by the title because the book is not childlike in its language or phrasing. It is quite large, has plenty of reading and does not contain any page fillers or useless information. Overall a highly informative book which takes you from scratch to being the best. Some of the more experienced agents should have a read as many could learn from its principles!

Best in the Business
Although this book is very obviously written for the American market which is structured quite differently from the U.K. market (in the U.S. the agent is merely one in a brokers office) - I was interested to read the details of how to select an office, in line with ones own expertise, needs and pers.. 
This is a book written by someone who HAS "been there and done that." Carlas experience is based upon years in the trenches actually doing deals and thus it is much more useful than a book written by someone who has only talked with agents.
