Firstscope
Cracking firstscope, much smaller and lighter than its big brother, only real gripe with it is that they give you a 10mm and 20mm eye piece, this pretty much makes the 10mm useless if you buy a 2x barlow lense, so i would suggest getting a 1.5x barlow if thats what you want. First propper night image i saw was Saturn, giving me its full attention. The rings are easy to notice as are its moons, if you have a clear sky you might make out some detail of the planet its self and the shaddow of the rings, it almost doesnt look real, like someone was hanging a model in front of the scope. Jupter was next, its storm clearly visable as are its moons, the moons can look like small objects on a good night and not just points of light. The moon will fill the field of view with a 20x eye piece, stick in the 10 and you can make out detail you never knew existed. you will not see much / any colour!!! small smudges of yellow, brown and perhaps blue, the big pictures you see in mags are photos taken over a hour or two using different colour lenses. But your mind will more than make of for that. Orions Nebulars are easy to make out in light polluted areas (glasgow) but again dont expect much / any colour (there is a good reason for this and its not limited to this telescope, all scopes more or less suffer) over all, well worth it.

Brillant telescope to buy!!!
This is a brillant telescope. This is my first telescope, it is easy to put together and the booklet that comes with it is realy helpful. It tells you how to look after your telescope and how to use it. It gives a step by step instruction on each part of the telescope and how to use them properly. A CD-ROM also comes with the telescope to help you out with the night sky. As for its performance, it is exellent. This first thing I saw with it is the moon and it is a fantastic feature to see. I would recommend this to anybody because you see more then just the moon and you can also purchase accessories if you realy wont to go a bit more deep. It also comes with a warranty just incase something goes wrong. You get your moneys worth when you buy this telescope.
