Nikon COOLPIX 2500 Digital Camera With Free 64MB CompactFlash Card [2.0MP 3xOptical]

£ 274.99
It is a nikon for affordable price -- what can i say!
This is a fantastic point to shoot digital camera with 3X Optical Zoom! It delivers NIKON quality in your pictures! It is very stylish as well. Before I bought this camera I had concerns about the lack of the viewfinder but you don’t need it at all as it is very practical to use the TFT screen. Like, my colleague has a digital camera with a viewfinder and he told me he doesn’t use it he uses the TFT screen.

One of the advantages of this camera is that it comes with a li-ion battery together with the charger. It saves you lots of money on buying separate charger and battery!

At the end of the day, buy this camera if you are after good quality pictures with a stylish camera for a good price!

Like all of the digital cameras it comes with a very low memory 8meg only so you definitely need another memory card! I bought 128mb which corresponds to 5 rolls of films on the highest quality which is a very big plus compared to standard 35mm cameras.

The only problem that you might experience is the battery as it is not standard. Thus, when you are on a holiday and use the camera a lot in a day, you cant just go to a store and buy some AA batteries to continue shooting when you run out of battery! Therefore, I would recommend buying a cheap second battery for long journeys.

Well, Im Impressed
I have had the camera for around 3 weeks now and have used it alot. The lack of view-finder is not a problem - even on a bright day the LCD is very visible. Being small and light yet pretty robust, it really is a "go-anywhere" camera. I have found that the battery is sufficent for a "day-out" (so long as you dont go mad). The preprogrammed Scene modes are good (at least the ones I have used so far). There is quite a lag between pressing the shutter release and the picture being captured so fast moving subjects can pose a problem. The quality of the pictures is superb, (a tribute to the Nikor lens I would guess) and they download quickly using the USB connector and the Nikonview software. Overall, a great little camera that you will take everywhere and is good value for money AND it looks cool. I was so impressed, that I am now buying a coolpix 4500 for work.

Coolpix for Cool Pics
Having decided to buy my first digital camera, I did a good deal of research beforehand. It can be a bit confusing, but with the help of amazons reviews I realised that first and foremost I wanted a camera that was easy to use, compact but still produced top-notch photos. I have not been disappointed. The coolpix 2500 lives up to the Nikon name, creating superb results with even a novice like me behind the LCD screen (theres no viewfinder, but I havent found that a problem). The camera is small, light, and aesthetically unique in a world of black/silver digicameras. The manual is straight forward, and the software extremely easy to install. I have fallen in love with my camera, but a word of warning... the LCD screen can be easily scratched so try and buy the case to go with it. Unfortunately I have had no luck finding it on the web so far, but with a camera this new, it should only be a matter of time. The unique swivel lens means that its well protected, and the variety of angles means that it is an absolute joy for a poser like me to take self-portraits!

Nikon En-El3 Rechargeable Batterie For D100

If you rely on a D100 for your paid job, then a second battery should be at the top of your purchase list.

Theres not a lot more you can really say. The D100 will take upwards of 600 shots on a single battery, but if you need to download a lot of images onto your laptop while on a job (for exampl..

Nikon COOLPIX 4300 Digital Camera [4MP 3xOptical]

I recently took the plunge to digital mainly because I was getting sick of carrying round a big (but very good) SLR plus lenses, plus remembering to buy film, plus remembering to keep my processing slips, plus having to wait for a week after holidays to see the results.
I checked out a variety of..

Nikon Wc-E80 Wide Converter 5400/5700

The Coolpix 5400 will not produce satisfactory photographs in flash mode with the Wide Angle Converter lens fitted because the lens blocks the cameras photocell sensor.
The lens also blocks the cameras inbuilt flash giving a shadow.
There is no obvious indication of this problem in the sales l..
