Pretty Woman [10th Anniversary Edition] (REGION 1) (NTSC)

£ N/A
Youre late - Youre beautiful!
Pretty Woman is a classic romantic comedy about Vivian a prostitute who is picked up by Edward (Richard Gere) a single business man (in a freinds Lotus, theres a tip for H. Grant) who interestingly is an asset stripper himself so in fact has alot in common with Vivian (think about it). The fairy tale is complete as gradually they fall for each other, its also a great thing to remember that Pretty Woman 2 was never made, the world left to ponder! Each scene is classy and the characters are convincing, so much so that despite the content its a family film! I also recommend the fantastic soundtrack. For a true hardened Pretty Woman fan if you want to see the dress Vivian wore on the streets check out Planet Hollywood in New York.. **Get out there and get a copy**

pretty women
this film is all about how peoples life can change for the better, when you least expect it.
its all about haveing a dream and in the film julias dream is to be rescued by a prince and richard gere is that prince, it just shows you that anything is possible whoever you are and whereever you are!!
i have read that people think that it is all about prosatution and its not like that it shows that there is a way out!!

Its one of the best films ive ever seen!
i think this film is superb and Richard Gere is such a dish in this film, its one of his best ever films. Julia Roberts acts out her role as a hooker very well and the chemistry between the two people is very strong and keeps you interested in the film. its worth seeing if you havent already seen it! definatley one to watch.

Raymond Briggs The Snowman : 20th Anniversary Collectors Edition

Well I was a bit sceptical of buying a new improved version of The Snowman as the original is such a classic. However I found a lot of the extras interesting, it gave me a good insight of how animation used to be created. I also found that because it was in widescreen I didnt have the annoying black..

Slap Shot: 25th Anniversary Special Edition [WS] (REGION 1) (NTSC)

Paul Newman and his Butch Cassidy director, George Roy Hill, made a very original comedy in this 1977 story of an over-the-hill player/coach (Newman) for a lousy hockey team who gets results when he teaches his players to get dirty. One of the most hilariously profane movies ever to come out of Hollywood, this is the kind of film that makes its own rules as it goes along. Newman is very good, and while Hill goes for the gusto in terms of capturing the violence of this world, his instinct ..

A Christmas Carol (50th Anniversary Edition) (REGION 1) (NTSC)

This 1951 adaptation of A Christmas Carol, starring Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge, is hailed by many as the best adaptation of Charles Dickens timeless Christmas story.
