.. I FOUND IT TO BE VERY USEFUL AS A BEGINNER IT LISTS COMMON AILMENTS AND THE RECOMMENDED OILS. THE ONLY DRAWBACK I FOUND WAS ONLY THE OILS SOLD THROUGH THE COMPANY WERE FEATURED. SO BECAME QUITE LACKING AS I PROGRESSED IN EXPERIENCE. GREAT FOR THE PRICE AND VERSATILITY. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND..
I read this book after reading Step by Step Reflexology by the same author. In contrast to the Reflexology version this book is full of incredible colour plates showing accurate representaions of the plants, trees and fruits from which the oils are produced.
This is an excellent book that takes a real genuine holistic approch to aromatherapy. It is the most interesting and useful reference out of the 12 aromatherapy books I own, and is interesting to read. An informative book for the lay person but unfortunatley it lacks some professionalism. The quality of some diagrams are poor and the lack of referencing in this book seriously lets it down. It describes some oils that are incredibly difficult to source and one is left wondering why oils that ..
