| BRIO Soft Stacking Clown |
| Description |
This is a cheerful and unique stacking toy from BRIOs classical infant preschool wooden and soft toy collection. Designed to stimulate children through play, this soft, yet hardwearing toy made of a velveteen fabric is fun and versatile. Stack them up, pull them, shake them and throw them around. This toy means lots of fun for the preschooler. It is made up of a base, a central holder which is detachable and three rings. Each ring has a different activity, the small ring has a bell, the middle ring has a squeaker and the large ring has a rattle The colours are strong, the small ring is black and yellow, the middle ring is black, green, yellow and red and the large ring is green and red. The central support, made up of four colours, yellow, red, blue and green, has a bell inside it and is topped of with a lovely, smiley clowns face The toy is aimed at babies over six months and is particularly designed to allow for the exploration of cause and effect. Shake two of the rings and you hear bells, squeeze the third ring and you hear a squeak. However the toy offers more than this, difficult concepts such as small and big can be explored. It can also be used for help in developing motor skills by, for example, threading the rings onto the central support. An eleven month old rolled around the floor giggling when we put the hoops over her feet and she tried to remove them! A younger baby will enjoy looking at the toy and listening to the bells and squeakers. This is a lovely tactile toy, with great potential to last into the toddler years. It should be noted that this toy could only be sponge cleaned, it is not suitable for the washing machine. See the other toys in the range: the Activity Barn and Activity Snake.. |

Fisher-Price Babys First Blocks

The blocks come in a brightly-coloured canister with a shape-sorting lid. The lid is designed to improve hand-eye coordination as babies try to post each shape through the correct hole. However, the lid fits very snugly and once all the blocks have been posted an adult will probably be needed to empty the canister before baby can start again. Babys..
