This mouse is ideal for most standard uses except for one thing - the batteries in the mouse weigh it down by a surprising amount. This leaves it heavy and clunky to operate.

Switched from a Microsoft Trackball which has problems with the metal ball-bearings aquiring gunk very quickly.
The Logitech uses plastic ball-bearings for the ball to glide on. This seems to make the ball more resistant to gunk and generally smoother with no scratching after cleaning...

The mouse is great. A bit smaller than I expected, but great if you always use a laptop...
