Ive owned an eTrex for about four years now. The current Amazon price is just 20% lower than what I paid then. Its quite remarkable for a piece of technology to hold its price so well, and is a reflection of just how well this unit is designed and specified.
It took a lot Internet research to find this little gem but it has paid off as it really does deliver what it claims. It was easy to pair with my Dell Notebook and the whole process took about five minutes. I use it with MS AutoRoute and again there was no problem setting up the GPS tracking feature..
Works perfectly with my Axim. Aquires your position in about 60 seconds from a cold start. Works very well in a car even without the external aerial attached.
