Art Explosion Label Factory is capable of producing just about any kind of label you could ever require. The software comes in two CD-ROMs. The main program CD provides houseroom for 500 fonts, while the second CD is packed with over 25,000 bits of clip art. This is organised into subject groups, and there is a viewer integrated into the main application, so you can quickly find what you need to use in your current project. You can draw a label completely from scratch, or use a Wizard to help you through the steps. If neither approach appeals, then there are 700 label templates to edit to your own specifications. Art Explosion Label Factory can do a lot more than just print fancy labels for your CD-R collection or home made jam and wine. It has a built-in mail merger so you can print address labels easily, and if your printer can handle stiff paper or card, you can use it to produce business cards, place cards for tables at parties, invitations, and other more substantial items. It even supports 35 different types of bar code if you need them. The printed manual walks you through using the software nicely, and you even get a couple of CD label sheets thrown in to practise on immediately.
