This book covers all kinds of retreat and is not restricted to religious places. The information given on each entry is comprehensive and detailed, allowing you to quickly find the type of place you are looking for. I have visited one of the places in the book and the information was accurate, it wa.. 
Rough Guides are an essential part of any travellers kit. This one is quite different from the usual tourist information found in other Rough Guides. Aimed at distance and trek walking rather than the country stroll. Not much in the way of those little details found in other editions that make the c.. 
Very disappointing. Do not rely on the durability of this map - it ripped the first time I opened it. If you want the whole of the region in one view, pick something else as it is split over two sides and is not condusive to easy route planning. The only positive note is that it is clear enough with.. 
Am very disappointed with this as I used to own the 2001 guide but mislaid it. I assumed that this would have been updated but a lot hasnt - I visit Mallorca regularly - & it is now out of date. It now covers both Mallorca & Menorca & therefore less information. I also own the Time Out Guide & would..
